Due to my knowledge on just what’s included nothing would stop anybody from doing that. On the other hand there pretty strong magnets. The included screws and clamps that mount the wire to the house can help keep camera a little more sturdy. I have not looked into any other mounts provided for this camera to know wether or not there is one available.

You can either mount your camera on brick, wood, or other non-metal surfaces by installing the wall plate (included in the box) or attach your camera to a metal surface using the magnet. For more details on how to install Nest Cam Outdoor: https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9228553 It's not easy to remove the Nest Camera from the wallplate. The person will have to insert the included hex key into the hole in the base and turn it counterclockwise first to remove it. For magnet mounted Nest cameras, someone may be able to pull it out, but the camera will be recording and sending you snapshots with an alert as it will go offline once it goes outside your Wi-Fi coverage.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Camera has to be connected to the magnet plate to be mounted on the wall. The magnet plate screws into your wall to mount and then camera gets magnetized to the plate to stay up. But it's not like a magnet for your refrigerator it's very strong magnet that you has to be pull hard to take off. As well as the cord is connected to the camera and comes with "u" clips to secure the cord to the wall as well. So if it's in reach it would take more than just a hit to take down. Someone would have to physically pull it hard to take it down but then they'll also have to try to pull the whole cord off the wall to.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. So I just bought a separate wall mount for my Google nest camera because the exterminator knocked the camera right off the base sweeping for spiders. He came at it from behind, so it didn’t trigger the camera to turn on since it didn’t detect any motion. Only way I knew about it was because he came and told me. The camera has a small threaded hole to use a more permanent mount, but you still have to stick that magnet on the back of the camera because - get this - it doesn’t work unless it senses the magnet. Now I worry the bad guys will just pop the magnet off. Kinda irks me that my home security system can easily be defeated by a guy with a broom. Wish I woulda went with a different system.
