• You can change this in settings. Mine works just like any motion sensor flood light.

• You can change the settings to turn on or off your Nest floodlight based on a motion sensor. Here’s how: Open the Google Home app. - Touch and hold your device's tile. - Open Settings > What turns on the floodlight. - Tap the switch to turn Motion on or off. - Set Motion sensitivity to High, Medium or Low.
