You would need 2 thermostats. There is no extension kit available.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You will need two nest units. Your will then link them to you phone (I call one "north side" and the other "south side"). You can then use your phone, echo dot and other tools to control the thermostats and specify the site you wish to change.

I have a 3rd gen Nest dowmstairs. I asked nest support about this situation. I didn’t need to purchase another Nest for upstairs
