There seems to be confusion here. Nest operates on low voltage (around 24 volts). When you say baseboard, you have to specify if you're using hot water or electric. Hot water baseboards are run off a furnace which uses low voltage for tstat control. Electric baseboards are line voltage (120-240 volts). The only way you can use a low voltage tstat with that system is if you install a heating relay with a transformer. Definitely a job for a professional.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It should but it depends on the wiring configuration. I have baseboard, but I only have a two wire configuration (which means there is no dedicated C-wire - or power wire). In theory it is supposed to work but some systems don't work with it like mine because of the way the Nest has to draw power without the C-wire.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Replace my 30 year old thermostat I have electric heat two wire black and white low voltage and on time of use can you recommend for new thermostat

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes! That’s what I have :-)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No Nest thermostats only work on 36 volt systems. Baseboard heater are usually 120/240 volt at the thermostat.
