“Does this work without wifi if I decide not to have wifi?”

• You need to connect to wifi to set up the thermostat. As soon as you power on the thermostat, the screen displays a message to set up on the Google Home app. There’s no workaround for this. Wifi is needed.

• Absolutely! You can still use the Nest Thermostat to control your system even without Wi-Fi. However, you won't be able to utilize its other features such as remotely controlling the thermostat using the Home app.
