Yes, the large numbers indicate temperature the thermostat is set to and the colors indicate whether HVAC is on/off: white = off, orange = heat, blue = cool. As you turn the dial to set temp note the dash setting on outer screen, when HVAC runs current interior temp is displayed on outer screen moves as the temp changes until at set temp then disappears.

If you press the screen it should show you the options to "Heat" "Cool" "Eco" "Fan" "Heat/Cool". Looks like you are in the cool setting. press the dial and switch it to heat cool and you should be able to set it to keep it between two temps.
