Yes, the Nest Thermostat E already has a built-in temperature sensor. But you also have the option to buy a separate Nest Temperature Sensor which can pair with your Nest thermostat and use it as the primary sensor. You can then place the Nest Temperature Sensor anywhere in your home and it will send temperature readings to your Nest thermostat.
