Yes, like the original Google WiFi, the Google Nest Router supports an Ethernet back-haul as long as you have two (or more) Nest Routers and not the Nest WiFi Points (which are wireless only).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, I backhaul among 4 Nest WiFi’s and 3 Google wifi routers in my network. But you have to buy all Nest wifi routers. The Nest wifi ‘Points’ don’t have Ethernet ports so no backhaul. I made that mistake and had to return a 3 pack.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There is no wired backhaul on google nest mesh routers, in addition there is no dedicated WiFi channel for a backhaul. I spoke with three separate google techs that confirmed this. You can daisychain the routers but that does not reduce the network traffic or provide any redundancy. https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/7215624?hl=en
