Activate Later is the same as "Unlocked". You'll get an unlocked device you can take to any compatible service provider.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi, I am going to pick one of these up when they become available and I'll be using Tracfone that uses the verizon towers. As long as the company you choose uses Sprint, Verizon, or AT&T towers you'll be fine. I have another unlocked device that I use the AT&T towers with tracfone. Before Tracfone I used unlocked phones with Net10 and Straighttalk. DO NOT use Textnow though. They jailbreak your phone with their sim card and you are LOCKED in with textnow. I hope I was able to answer your questions. Have a great day.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It should work with the major carriers, and many of the MVNO's. But I ran into a problem trying to activate one on a few of the MVNO's, They want you to put the IMEI number into their system to see if it will work, the problem with that, you have to buy the phone to get that. So I bought a phone and THOUGHT I was going to get service on Visible or Yahoo, they claim it won't work, though I feel it will, but they will not even send me a sim card due to the IMEI says not compatible. So BEWARE!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can use the 'unlocked' phone with any carrier you choose (Verizon, T-Mobile/Sprint, At&T) in the U.S.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.IF you buy the Activate Later (unlocked phone), It should work with all the major carriers (CDMA or GSM) and most if not all the MVNOs (Ting, Google FI, Republic, ,Mint, etc.). Check the carriers that interest you. If they accept any older Pixel phones, they should accept the 4a.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later."Activate today" requires you to sign up and activate the phone with one of the companies which makes the offer at the time you buy the phone, but you can later switch to another company, often without any penalties. And, yes, it's truly an unlocked phone that will work with most cell phone providers.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have the same exact question.........I want to buy the Pixel 4a and use it with my Cricket Wireless plan. Would like to hear from someone who has actually successfully used the Pixel 4a with Cricket. I read in a few blogs that Cricket will not allow any unlocked phones to access hotspots, only phones purchased thru Cricket. Called a Cricket store but didn't get definitive answer.....sigh.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, since it is unlocked, you can use any GSM service provider. You just need that service provider to send you a SIM card. Just make sure the provider is GSM. (Most of them are.)
