A:Answer "Normally", yes, it seems to take hours, days, or sometimes forever for a simple email to be sent with the associated card details. Sending an email for every other action by every other entity takes seconds, yet Best Buy can't manage it in hours or days but they never fail to charge the purchase price immediately every time. Is this normal, no, it is not. It is abnormal, yet it normally happens to purchasers of gift cards at Best Buy. For years it has been a persistent, unresolved issue with Best Buy, Google is full of reports going back years. And I say all this as I wait now going on 16 hours after my card was charged for my own $10 gift card email.
