Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.One of the units must be plugged directly into your modem. So if the modem isn't in your apartment and your apartment isn't close to the modem. It will not work. You could look into buying your own modem/router and have it set up with the same network as the apartment complex but you wouldn't need an extender for that.

Besides that, this is a mesh technology, If this were possible, I wouldn’t buy this as an extended. It’s a shame to waste this little wonder. If you want an extender, there are plenty of options for 20$ or less.
