The limited Wi-Fi Internet speed you have could be related to a double NAT issue which happens when you have 2 routers broadcasting the same Wi-Fi SSID and password. To fix this, we recommend disabling the Wi-Fi functionality for your modem/router combo or put it in bridge mode, then set up Google Wifi router as your main router. You can then connect your other Google Wifi points and Nest Wifi points to the main Google Wifi router. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Lots of factors could be the issue: Does your modem support the 500mbps (if you are not using your internet provider's modem)? What is the speed to your modem (due to time of day, actual vs. expected)? How many devices do you have connected? Where are the units placed? Near other electronics, in a closet/cupboard? Prior to your upgrade, did you have the Google Wifi mesh routers? Was the speed the same? How far from the router are you testing? In my case, its 3pm on a Friday and my laptop is currently pulling 75Mbps down vs. the network at 684Mbps (and have 1 Gig fiber). I am a fair distance away from the main router (and hardwired into a mesh unit that is still a fair enough distance from the main base. In the evening and for my Chromecast with Google TV which is right above the main access, I am usually i the 800-900Mbps range.
