• yes. the master unit uses one for WAN (internet router) and the other for LAN (your laptop). the other units can use both ports for LAN devices. i use it that way myself and it works great.

• Yes you can. In addition you can also use this ethernet port to connect the peripheral node to the main node (so a hard wired connection in case the wireless connection to the main node is weak).

• Yes, every unit has an Ethernet port that can be used for a direct connection to a laptop or anything with an Ethernet connection. I can't tell people enough how happy we are to have invested in this system. It's awesome.
