QuestionSo does this product have a DOCSYS 3.1 rating? I am not sure what that means, but to get the Gigabit service, COX is telling me to get a DOCSYS 3.1 system....

- Answer The DOCSIS 3.1 requirement refers to your cable modem, not the WiFi setup. For Cox Gigabit internet, you do need a cable modem that complies with DOCSIS 3.1. There is a list of supported modems on the Cox website - I use a Motorola MB8600 and it works flawlessly with Cox Gigabit.

QuestionOur home is 2500 sq ft with 10-inch exterior walls made of foam and concrete. There is a studio apartment above the detached garage. Will this system work for the studio as well as the main house?

- Answer No, the first one must be hardwired in. After that a max of 4 can be added via wifi.

Question(attached) The geek squad guy opened launcher and clicked on the blue camera and the video comes right up. When I click on the blue camera I get a black screen. What am I doing wrong? the camera is not blocked.

If your modem is a modem/router combo, we recommend disabling the Wi-Fi functionality of the combo or putting it in Bridge mode to avoid Double NAT as it may cause connectivity issues. - Answer One of the points must act as the mesh network router. Depending on the size of your home you may need additional points to create a solid network.
