• A:Answer It does go underwater, but the issue is water and the reflection will totally distort your imagery. There are 3rd party housings where the camera can remain 100% dry and work in a spherical manner and record. The Fusion camera is just stating it is waterproof, not 100% resistant and different depths (I think 30' is the max). The camera is awesome, I just would not use it under water or expect those conditions to be perfect. Download the firmware updates and good luck. It is an incredible device.

• A:Answer The Fusion is a totally different type of GoPro camera than what we've ever had before in that it is capable of shooting full 360 photos and videos. Because it's so different than our past cameras, it's not really a replacement for his current GoPro, but another type of camera he could use. If you're looking for a replacement for a traditional GoPro, check out the HERO7 Black. Q: QuestionSilly question but can you take still photos that have the same 360 functionality as the video? I would imagine so but just wanted to make sure. How does this compare to the Fly360 4K?

• A:Answer Yes, it does still photography, video, timelapse, night timelapse, etc.... Basically anything the Hero 6 can do, except in 360. Comparing it to the Fly.... the gopro images are MUCH higher resolution. This camera really takes excellent photos and Video. The drawback is that gopro bungled the software. The phone app is glitchy and if you are on android, support is practically non-existent.... despite what GoPro claims in their marketing.

• A:Answer There is nothing native on GoPro app (or GoPro website) that says/shows it can live stream to Facebook. And I haven't found any third party application that might do this.

• A:Answer GoPro cameras do not have night vision in the sense that they can operate in extreme darkness. Cameras like the Fusion though, do have options for capturing images and videos in low light though, including adjustable ISO settings and a Night Lapse mode for longer exposure times.

Q: QuestionCan this be used in an auto as a dash cam? I'm wanting video for crash evidence etc and this would work out to do the things I want to do with people sideswiping etc while on cell phones.

• A:Answer It could be used for that, but for a dash cam, you'll probably want a camera that offers a looping feature so that the video that's recorded overwrites itself at regular intervals so your memory doesn't fill up too quickly. One of our new HERO cameras like the HERO8 Black or the HERO7 Black may be a better option.

• A:Answer You don't need to have Internet access to use the Fusion. The only time you'd need an Internet connection is when you want to update the Fusion's firmware. After that, the Fusion creates its own wifi signal that allows you to pair the camera to your smartphone using the GoPro app.

Q: QuestionOkay, on the water it will distort the images, but for example if I use it in a waterfall (canyoning) is there any problem with water damaging the camera? Pq says it can withstand up to 5 meters , but in my case it is waterfall with force and pression

• A:Answer The Fusion can handle some force, but you'll want to be careful if the force from the waterfall would exceed what the camera would experience at 5 meters. A light stream of water is going to be fine. A high falls may be too much though.

• A:Answer The Fusion can be attached to a tripod. A great option would be a GoPro tripod like the MAX Grip + Tripod. If you want to use a standard, non-GoPro tripod, you will need an adapter to convert the GoPro mounting system on the Fusion into a standard screw type mount.
