Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, the HERO10 Black is waterproof on its own down to 33 feet. It handles ocean waves well. If you're going to be in a really active zone though, you might want to use a protective housing with the camera just to add some extra protection against rocks, sand, etc. Also, it's always a good idea to rinse the camera off with clean fresh water after using the camera in salt water.
