“Does this record sound and what is the quality?”

• Sound quality is on par with a cellphone. I have the DJI Mic Kit (works with gopro media mod) to take care of sound.

• Yes, it does. I was satisfied with the sound quality, although professional mics certainly do a better job. The mic on the camera records far better sound quality than a high end cell phone.

• Yes, the HERO11 Black records audio using the latest version of the in-camera mics. Plus, with the Creator Edition, you can use the Media Mod with its built-in microphone, or connect your own 3.5 external mic if you have one, so there are lots of options to get great audio with the HERO11 Black.

• It does record sound. And from the stuff i used it for the sound has turned out good. And purchased my camera to take hunting.
