Yes. I have a Samsung Galaxy s9, and easily connected with gopros app from play store.

There is an app on the app store. Surprisingly is was MUCH easier to set up and use than the Hero 4 black was. Only took a few minutes to set it up. Download the app first and just follow the steps.
