You should be able to upload your files to your computer if you connect the SD card directly to the computer using an SD card adapter. An alternative to that is to download GoPro's Quik for Desktop app which will allow you to import directly from the camera. Note that Quik for Desktop is a legacy software that is no longer being developed, but it is still available for download.
