The battery is not removable on the Silver or the White, and the charging takes time and battery life is not acceptable to me. I have not had any luck with the Hero 7 Silver charging with anything other than a wall outlet. I would recommend going with the Hero 7 Black
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.White/Silver does not have a removable battery, and there is not an external Refuel battery pack for this model as of yet. You could hook up a jump pack, however; your camera will not charge while it's recording- which kind of makes attaching a jump pack directly into it. I've learned that your recharge time from the jump pack could be rather slow as well. You're better off plugging it in directly to a power plug to recharge it. This is what I have discovered with my use. I would recommend buying the Hero 7 Black. It has a removable battery and you could buy a spare to swap out your used battery while it charges.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The battery in the HERO7 White or the HERO7 Silver is not removable. The HERO7 Black, however, does have a removable battery. Some power packs can charge the GoPro. The power output needs to be 5V / 1-2A.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Pretty sure the only one that has the interchangeable batteries are the high end models. NOT this one. Which upset me in the beginning but yes you can charge anything with the portable batteries. As long at you have the cables.
