If they're store bought bagged fries maybe 5-7 ish minutes at 400....maybe half of the basket depth and pull out half ish way and stir it up...change positioning of fries. If making from fresh potatoes, not sure. There is a recipe book, instructions and suggestions for times enclosed with the unit. If you find out on the fresh fries....let everyone know....
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. For starters, are we talking about pre-prepared frozen fries or fresh potatoes? There's a big difference. There's also a difference in the type of fry, such as steak fries vs. shoe string types. The thicker the fry, the longer the cooking time. I can speak to cooking the frozen fries like Ore-Ida. You can do up to a large basket (about 3/4 basket) of fries at once, but you may need a longer cooking time than what's listed in the book. Start by putting the fries in a large Ziplock-Type bag with a couple tablespoons of oil, and shake them until they're all lightly coated. This will make them crispier and have a mouth-feel closer to deep fried. You also need to pull out the basket and shake the fries (preferably over the sink) every 4 to 5 minutes so that they're all cooked evenly, especially if you're using more than the amount the manual says. Be sure to monitor the color of the fries. They should be golden-brown like restaurant fries when done. If they're browner, pull them out; they're done.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Depends on whether you are cooking thin fries or thick ones and if frozen or not, but I usually fill the basket bottom up fairly full with frozen crinkle fries and they'll be done on the Fries setting in 10-12 minutes. Thin fries might take 8-10. If you cook other stuff with it times will change and they may come out a bit soggy.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.A batch of fries usually takes 10-15 minutes depending on how crispy you like your fries. That is based of an approximate 7oz suggested serving size. I go with smaller batches and do not put food on top of one another so they get really crispy!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Approximately 12 minutes at 400
