“Does the non stick coating on the basket peel off? I’ve read several reviews on some other brands and they mentioned it started to peel after several uses.”

I have a different model Gourmia - got it for Christmas - and have used it just about every day. I just noticed the coating on the basked (not the food tray) is starting to peel. I hand wash it with non=abrasive sponge and do not use utensils in the basket at all, so I'm not sure why it would peel except to say it's a cheap coating...

Please try again later.We purchased a Gourmia 6qt air fryer in 2018, and have used it 4-5x a week for almost 3 years now and just noticed that the coating in the basket (on the sides) is now peeling/chipping/warped. We typically handwash (80%) and will use the dishwasher for tougher messes, so not sure if this is just the typical lifespan of an air fryer or is a bigger issue. Will be purchasing a new air fryer soon, and would consider Gourmia again for the price point and the usage we got out of it.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I've used my fryer about 6 or 7 times now and have not seen or had any problems. I clean my basket and tray with hot soap and water. No scrubbing needed just s towel or sponge.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have only had this for 2 months and have no issues with the basket peeling. I always coat the basket and basin with cooking spray for easy cleaning so I never have to scrape it.
