Hello Vicky, A green flashing light indicates that the battery is charging. A solid green light indicates that the battery is fully charged. Flashing red - fault. False Defect Note: When the battery is inserted into the charger, and the status LED flashes, remove the battery from the charger for 1 minute, then reinsert. If the status LED indicates normal than the battery pack is good. If the status LED is still blinking, remove the battery pack and unplug the charger. Wait 1 minute and plug the charger back in and reinsert the battery pack. If the status LED indicates normal than the battery pack is good. If the status LED is still blinking then the battery pack is defective and needs to be replaced. Solid red means that the battery is at the wrong temperature to be charged (too hot or too cold). Bring the battery and charger indoors for about 15 minutes before trying to charge again. We hope this helps!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Depends on which light is blinking. If red is blinking, the problem is temperature of pack or other error. I am having same issue right now. Reference: https://manuals.plus/greenworks/24v-lithium-ion-battery-charger-manual
