Hello Jeffmcd - When it comes to the comparison of our voltage lines, the higher the voltage, the more power the motor has. With that said, the 80V saw would be more powerful. However, the higher the ampere-hour (Ah) rating is on a battery, the longer the run time will be. This means that while the 80V saw is more powerful, the 60V saw would have a longer run time as it comes with a higher Ah battery. However, both are more than suitable for residential use.
