  • QuestionIs this pressure washer noisy?

    Asked by ArmchairHousekeeper.

    • Answer Hello Pops - When you let go of the trigger, the machine shuts off. This means that electric pressure washers only make noise while you're actually spraying water; they're completely silent the rest of the time. On top of this, the electric motor in one of these pressure washers is much quieter than a gas-powered engine.

  • QuestionWHAT IS THE LENGTH OF THE ELECTRICAL CORD? CAN AND EXTENSION CORD BE ADDED TO THE ELECTRICAL CORD FOR ADDITIONAL LENGTH?

    Asked by FRED.

    • Answer Hello FRED - Use only extension cords that have watertight connections and are intended for outdoor use. Use only extension cords having an electrical rating not less than the rating of the product. If you are using an extension cord, then use a 25' 12 gauge. If you notice any loss in performance, stop using the cord immediately. This unit includes a 35' power cord with inline GFCI for use on all exterior outlets.

  • QuestionWhy does pressure washer run for a few seconds then shut off

    Asked by Anonymous.

    • Answer When the pressure will unit will not turn on, it starts pulsating or turning off during use most of the time it is due to air that is stuck in the pump from the customer's previous use. This can be fixed by assembling the unit as per usual, no extension cord. Remove any nozzle that may be connected at the end of the wand. Make sure that you have a green light on the GFCI on the power cord. Turn your garden hose on but leave the pressure washer turned OFF. With the pressure washer turned off, squeeze on the trigger for about 3 minutes – allowing the water to run through the unit at no pressure. In doing so, you are bleeding the unit out of any air that may be stuck in the pump. After 3 minutes, reinstall your nozzle and continue squeezing the trigger then turn on the unit with your opposite hand. At this point, any trapped air should be eliminated – thus allowing the unit to run freely. *Please try all nozzles and note any differences in performance. • QuestionWhat do the different color nozzles represent and which is best for washing cars?

    Asked by SilkySlim5.

    • Answer Hello Slim - Thank you for the questions. Each of the spray tips has a different spray pattern. Before starting any cleaning job, determine the best spray tip for the job. The following chart offers some general guidelines to help you choose the best spray tip for your application. 25º – green nozzle: Uses a medium angle of spray for washing sensitive and soft surfaces (deck, fence, aluminum etc.) 40º – white nozzle: largest angle of spray used for cleaning surfaces quickly and for rinsing. Turbo nozzle rotates in a zero to 15-degree spray pattern in a circular motion to break down tough dirt and grime. The spray pattern can cover area of 4 to 8 inches wide, depending on a distance between the tip and the surface being cleaned. When using the pressure washer for the car, it is always best to start with a plain water rinse to remove any loose mud, salt, or bugs. For this, you will want a 25 (green) or 40 (white) degree nozzle. Do not go any lower than that. You will risk damage to the paint with a 0- or 15-degree nozzle. Please test out the spray nozzle before use to choose the right spray for the job.

  • QuestionProduct photo shows a soap tank. What is purpose of tank and why is high pressure soap applicator needed/required/recommended?

    Asked by JoeinWooster.

    • Answer The soap tank allows you to add soap mix so while you’re spraying it includes soap solution. The soap applicator tells the machine to add the soap mix to the spray. If you don’t want to mix soap with your spray, you’ll use one of the other applicators.

  • QuestionHow easy is it to find a longer hose for this to clean the second story of a house?

    Asked by theskees.

    • Answer Hello thekees - We do not offer extension wands for our pressure washers. While we do not offer these products, they can be purchased from other brands that may be compatible. The extension wand would have to be connected to our wand using a 1/4" quick connect fitting to the end of the existing wand, however, please know that the pressure may be affected as the units were not technically designed to be used with an extension wand. You could also try 1/4" quick connect second-story nozzles in lieu of an extension wand.
