Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You might have problems if you try to install both copies on the same computer. You really only need 1 copy installed. The software allows you to prepare as many returns as you want. The only restriction is with the number of tax returns that you can e-file for free. You can e-file up to 5 federal returns for free with the purchase of 1 copy of the software. If you are only doing 2 different returns, then you are good to go. If you need to file more than 5 returns, then you e-file the first 5, and then just mail in the rest. I think it will also give you the option to pay for the e-file option after you have reached the limit of 5. If needed, you could use the activation code from your 2nd copy of the software to e-file up to 5 more returns. You shouldn't need to install the 2nd copy of software.
