Q: QuestionIs there a version of this software for purchase that includes the federal AND state e-file (as opposed to paying additional fee for state)?

• A:Answer no, you have to pay the separate fee to e-file the state. You can give them your credit card or have it removed from your refund. it's usually only $20 for Iowa and would not be worth paying for a more complicated version of the tax software. I have used the TaxCut from H & R Block for a long time. I trust them and you can get help any time by phone or a web chat. :-)

• A:Answer You can install on multiple devices, however you will only be able to efile five federal returns per software purchase. Note that State efiles are an additional $19.95 per return. We do not have a CD version this year, but you can purchase a physical version which would include a card with download link and activation code printed inside.

• A:Answer You can install the software on more than one computer. You can then use a jump drive or other portable device to transfer the tax returns created on one computer to the other computer.

• A:Answer Given that there are changes in tax law every year, using 2020 tax software for 2019 could/would subject to the scrutiny of the IRS and who wants that. Considering that you are asking this question, you apparently already have an issue with the IRS, your non/late filing for 2019. You might want to get a tax advisor to work with you as you will need some advice regarding your 2019 return.
