- Answer I originally asked this question because the refrigerator is not on display at stores. Based on the Haier Representative's response posted here, I purchased the refrigerator and it was delivered today. The answer provided by Haier was WILDLY INCORRECT! The top two freezer drawers are NOT 7" deep - They are 3.75" deep! Essentially these drawers have 50% less capacity than claimed! I used the answer to painstakingly mock up fake drawers to determine if they would meet my needs! I asked specific questions and did my homework - and still ended up in this predicament! Customers don't have access to this model and rely on getting accurate information from Haier employees who do. Now I'm stuck with a refrigerator that isn't going to work for my specific needs. PLEASE CORRECT THIS WRONG INFORMATION IMMEDIATELY!

QuestionWhat is the depth of the door shelves? Are the door shelves adjustable?

- Answer Hello - thanks for reaching out! The depth of the upper and middle door bins are 2 1/2 inches and the depth of the lower door bins are 3 5/8 inches. The door bins are removable, but not adjustable - the distance between top bin to the middle bin is 9 3/4 inches and 15 3/4 inches from middle bin to bottom bin. We hope this helps! QuestionWith only vents on rear next to freezer. how do air and heat circulate around and exhaust out when positioned in an alcove with recommended 2" top/1" sides clearances? For aesthetics can trim around the front of unit have a tighter fit, say .5"?

QuestionAre the front doors actual stainless steel metal, or are they stainless colored plastic? And the sides in the pictures appear to be a gray metal, but some answers to previous questions say the sides are black. Are the sides gray like the pictures?

The distance between the shelves: 7" from upper shelf to ceiling. 7" from middle shelf to upper shelf 9-7/8" from shelf above crisper to next shelf. Crisper (bin): 14 ½" X 21 ½" The door can hold a 2-liter or 1/2 gal milk container. Gallon Jug will fit on Fresh Food Shelf with middle shelf in upper position. Thanks for checking! Olga

QuestionHow tall is this refrigerator? I saw someone’s review where they said it was taller than described in the specifications so they had to remove their cabinets to make it fit. I would have the same problem if this is taller than 68 inches.

QuestionWhat is the maximum clearance I can achieve from the floor to the bottom of the refrig? I ask because I am trying to determine if I need to remove molding strips to fit this model in the space I have.

- Answer Hello Letty, Thanks for the question and the interest. We are very glad to assist. The legs are in the front of the refrigerator and wheels on the back. So the back height of the refrigerator is always the same at approximately 67.7". When the legs are adjusted to the shortest position, the front height is approximately 67.5". When the legs are at longest position, the front height is nearly 68". There will be approximately 1" at the bottom at the front with the legs at the longest position. We wish you all the best!

QuestionCan you add an ice maker

- Answer I would recommend just getting a better quality fridge with an ice maker. This model is very poorly made and ours broke after 1.5 years (just out of warranty). Spend a little more and have a fridge that lasts much longer, it's definitely worth it. Their customer service is as bad as their products so I would not recommend purchasing this to anyone.
