Q: QuestionAre the bottom freezer compartments separately adjustable? Can either/both be used as refrigerator?

• A:Answer Yes, bottom freezer compartment with two doors has separately adjustable temperature control dashboard on the front door. However the temperature range is limited to 0-4 F degrees. You cannot use this bottom compartment as a refrigerator. However both the freezer and refrigerator are spacious. I hope this helps.

Q: QuestionI have the stainless steel and one time wiped near the top doors with dish cloth and it is permanently stained. This is about a 2 inch stain on both sides. I have tried rubbing it out with stainless cleaner and it won’t budge. Is there anything I can do?

Q: QuestionConsidering replacing the unreliable unit in our RV with a compressor type refrigerator. Will this brand work with a modified sine wave type inverter?

• A:Answer Hi, good question! We're sorry to hear you've been having trouble with the unit in your RV. We appreciate your interest in this Side-by-Side Refrigerator and we'd love to help. We suggest checking with the inverter manufacturer on whether that device will run an appliance. In general, appliances can be used on an auxiliary power generator such as a gas, diesel or propane powered generator. We do not specifically test our appliances for use on generators such as gas or inverter powered generators. However, there are special refrigerators from our GE line that can be used in an RV. Models GPV10FGNBB and GPV10FSNSB. These 12V DC refrigerators are designed for use in RVs, boats, and solar homes. They do not come with a cord, and cannot be connected to an AC outlet or the AC outlet in an inverter. Let us know if you have any questions. Take care! -Sylvia@Haier

Q: QuestionThe unit is ice-maker-ready and includes instruction to install a GE icemaker. However, it doesn't fit. Haier is investigating, meanwhile has anyone successfully installed an ice maker, and if so, how did the process differ form the provided instructions?

Q: QuestionHello. Will this unit slide in to a 33” wide cabinet surround? I do have sufficient clearance (12” plus) on both sides to insure the doors open to 89 degrees. Height is sufficient at 74”.

• A:Answer Hi there, thanks for your question! Based on the unit's installation instructions, we're seeing that you would need 1" minimum of air clearance on the sides of the unit and the top as well. The back of the unit needs, at least, 2" of air clearance. Based on that information, a 33" wide cutout space would not be wide enough for this unit.
