QuestionDoes.it run on 110v and does dry the clothes

- Answer Yes, it plugs into a normal 110 home outlet. It washes and dries the clothes. It does take longer than separate units, but keep in mind you can do a wash and dry load without being there to transfer the clothes from one to the other.

QuestionDoes the door have a well-sealing gasket so that the machine itself will not get moldy if I leave the door closed after washing?

- Answer Hello Miriam. Front load washers are sealed very well, which means there is often not much air circulation inside the basket when the door is closed. This can keep moisture from evaporating. We just recommend wiping down the door gasket after use. Thank you for checking with us. LEDAatGEA

QuestionI heard different story’s on these combos I am very interested in getting one But I’ve heard it takes at least 3-4 hours to do one wash and dry is this true And if not does it dry very well

- Answer Hello Reign - this is Nancy at Haier Appliances and we are happy to help you. This is a nice combination washer/dryer unit. If you are washing Whites, it will take approximately 2 hrs. and 45 minutes for the wash cycle. The Normal Cycle will take approximately 59 minutes. The Quick Cycle will take approximately 28 minutes. The Auto Dry will take about 3 hours and the Timed Dry will take about 30 minutes. These times are approximate. We hope this helps! QuestionBathroom and kitchen sinks might not drain properly. Is it possible to connect the hose to a bathtub faucet? Can this machine remain free-standing or does it need to be mounted? How many medium-sized towels could be washed/dried in one run? Thanks!

- Answer Kitchen sinks are usually better than bathroom sinks for draining. I was not able to find a secure connector for a bathtub faucet. Keep in mind the connector needs to hold back pressure so when the machine stops taking in water, the water doesn't start squirting out of the connector. My solution to hooking this up to a sink was to use a connector for a dishwasher. Also keep in mind when using a faucet use ONLY hot or cold don't mix them or you will back feed one of the pipes and cause issues with other faucets or showers. Yes this machine is free standing, but shakes allot on higher spin cycles. Four towels will take about 3 hours to wash and fully dry.

QuestionHi there - I'm considering this unit to place in my bathroom and share the same drain as the bathroom sink. The bathroom sink is 1.5" drain pipe, will that work?

- Answer It depends on how fast the drain works. I recommend getting a mop bucket filling it with water and pouring it into the sink, if it drains well enough you should be fine.

- Answer It is a 110 machine and ventless, so the dryer functions anywhere there is water supply and drain (yes, drying requires water and a drain too).

QuestionWhen I select all the cycles I like to use, it gives me a roughly 3 hour cycle time. It actually takes 5 hrs before it beeps and shuts off. Why is the cycle so long? I only fill the drum half way.

- Answer My door not unlocking started as an intermittent issue now it is after nearly every cycle. I found the magic answer yesterday 3/17/2024 on this website https://www.haier.com/in/service-support/self-service/20131114_102671.shtml. Turn off the power, unplug the power, open the access panel my 2019 machine has a ring hanging down, gently pull it straight down on the manual door release lever and now open the door magically opens.

QuestionSo I recently noticed the top of my HLC 1700 is very hot during the dry cycle. But i also had some clothes stacked on top which may have caused it to feel extra hot. But I'm curious if there is any way the heat exchanger could over heat?
