Q: QuestionWhen door is open 90 degrees can the produce drawer slide open? And with the door at 90 degrees can the shelves and drawer be removed for cleaning?

Q: QuestionHow long does the warranty last on the 9.8 cubic ft model? We bought this one just over a year ago and it seems to have stopped working. Just wondering if we're going to have to go buy a new one already!

The temperature range will vary by product. In general, the fresh food section will cool to an average temperature between 34 and 41 degrees F, and the freezer temperature will average between -10 and 20 degrees F. If your refrigerator is not getting cold/cool: Verify the refrigerator is plugged in to a working outlet. Make sure the unit is turned on and that the thermostat control is set to a cold temperature setting. Frequent door openings. Allow time for warm food to reach fresh food temperature. Check gaskets for proper seal. Adjust temperature to a colder setting. If only the fresh food or only the freezer compartment is not cold/cool: Check to make sure the air vents in the compartment are not obstructed. • A:Answer Hello, Thanks for reaching out to us. We recommend you adjust your temperature setting. We recommend 4 as the setting. 1 is the warmest setting. It is normal for the top and sides of the unit to be warm or hot to the touch during normal operation. Make sure that you have an inch of air space around the case to allow good airflow. Q: QuestionI have just been given a Haier fridge. I'm trying to control the temp. So are when I have it on 4 it freezes a glass of water, when I move it to 6 it freezes also. Please help me what setting is correct & any other things I should look at. thanks

• A:Answer The temperature control dial has 7 settings. 1 is the warmest. 7 is the coldest. At first, set the dial to 4 and allow 24 hours to pass before adjusting the temperature to your needs. For normal operating conditions, keep the dial halfway between cold and coldest. For your convenience, the factory presets the control at normal operating conditions

• A:Answer The high setting on the Crisper drawer is good for leafy fresh vegetables and the low setting for this drawer is good for vegetables or fruits that have skin. You can read the full description for this drawer on page 13 of the Use and Care manual found on the product page. For a salad that contains both leafy vegetables and skinned vegetables you will want to set your drawer to the middle.

The hinge cover height is approximately 0.5", so the height to the top of the case is approximately 59". We recommend that you review the "Proper Air Circulation" section on pg. 5 of the Owner's Manual to determine if your space meets the clearance requirements for this fridge.

• A:Answer We encourage you to disconnect the power to the refrigerator for 2-3 minutes to reset the controls. Using a warm water (not hot) and baking soda solution, we recommend cleaning the entire gasket and the area to which the gasket seals. Dry completely and rub a small amount of petroleum jelly all along the length and width of the gasket to ensure the gasket is sealing properly. If you continue to have difficulty and are confident the door wasn't left open accidentally, we recommend calling Bodewell Service at 833-4BODEWELL (833-426-3393) to schedule a service appointment to have your refrigerator properly diagnosed and repaired.
