QuestionSo my mom was making a roast and she turned it on and left to go shopping, she came back and it was off entirely she had only left it for five hours and she is beyond mad and I want to know if these things turn themselves off entirely.

- Answer I was cooking beans and mine turned off completely too!!Didnt even stay on warm..To say I was upset was an understatement as I had just bought this..I dont like that the hrs mode is conrolling my food..there should be a switch to turn off the time desired!!

- Answer Thank you for your question. If you will be away when your food is finished cooking we recommend using the Program Mode. For the Program Mode, input the preferred amount of cooking time and the Slow Cooker automatically shifts to WARM at the end of the selected cooking time so that your food will not overcook.

QuestionIf I set the time for 4 hours and when it is done it switches to warm, how long will it stay on warm before turning off??? And does it ever turn off????

- Answer Thank you for your question. This Hamilton Beach Slow Cooker will automatically turn off and display “OFF” after a total of 14 “ON” hours if On/Off button is not pressed.

QuestionI'm looking at this Slow Cooker because I can set the exact temperature I want to cook the food. My question is can I set the temperature and set it to cook for a specific length of time (i.e., 180 degress for 3 hours 20 min).

QuestionI have this slow cooker and the display isn't legible any more. I want to use the probe setting for the first time, but without knowing what temperature it starts at, I don't know how many times to press the button to get to the right temperature.
