A:Answer Almost entirely sure this is a no. Geek squad may be able to actually install something for you but the likelihood they can do a cpu upgrade and guarantee it working is next to nill. The reason why is unlike desktops, laptop cpus are integrated into mobo so you can not just upgrade the cpu. You have to find the same compatible mobo for your model with the upgraded cpu integrated into that mobo and have geek squad to that mobo install and hope all your other components that get installed including gpu, storage, memory and wifi are compatible. More likely than not gpu, memory, battery, ports and/or wifi card will also be integrated so original hardware more or less may not be compatible heck even monitor or keyboard may have issues and it takes a good deal of research to get the right mobo compatible as the same laptop company makes many models you buy one for another model it may not fit into case or screws as mobos for laptops are no standard size. If you get lucky to find a compatible one it surely will be expensive 600-800+ and that is before geek squad charges you an arm and a leg to install a new motherboard. Upgrading memory, storage and wifi card are usually easy but cpu usually not. They don't usually have non integrated cpus as that takes a lot of space, same with gpus.
