• A:Answer This is possible but you have to invest in an Aux splitter. The only model on the ONYX Series that can be paired together wirelessly is the ONYX STUDIO 3 with the help of the Wireless Dual Sound feature. If you would like to use two ONYX STUDIOs at the same time using one source device, you can use an AUX splitter cable which can be purchased at most electronics stores.

Q: QuestionAux input while connected to powerMy HK studio 2 does not produce any sound through aux while it is connected to power. Is this bu design? Only works while running on battery

• A:Answer The ONYX STUDIO 2 should work on aux while plugged in. • A:Answer My guess is people are turned off by the size and battery life. It can only go 4 hours on battery and it is not very portable because it is large. The market seems to be pushing small but big sound speakers nowadays but most of those speakers can't hold a candle to the sound coming from this one!

• A:Answer The Onyx series use 19 Volt power supplies. So you would not be able to charge it with a 12 volt car system. However, if this is something you need to do, you can purchase a 120 volt car audio converter. They are fairly inexpensive as you would not need a very powerful one. These units only require 2 Amps when charging, so a 120 volt/2 amp or higher charger would work great.

• A:Answer Overall the Onxy Studio Line gets better with each generation. The Studio 2 is the one i have currently and the difference between the Studio 2 and the Studio 3 is the size of the actual driver and the back and the overall comfortability pf the entire speaker itself.

• A:Answer Thanks for your inquiry. No. These two are not compatible. The speaker would require a bluetooth connect feature for pairing from speaker to speaker. There are product lines manufactured by JBL with this feature. Sincerest apologies.
