These hearing aids are calibrated through a cell-phone based application on the end user's cell phone. My 85-year old father-in-law, with moderate hearing loss, uses hearing aids that are calibrated by a similar application.

When your hearing changes you’d have to send these back-and-forth to get them re-programmed. Also your specific hearing loss is going to be different in different situations. Your ability to hear you’re in a crowded restaurant it’s going to be lots different than your ability to hear an a conversation around the dinner table. I mean I know you know that but…
