The specs shown on the Best Buy listing page show that the TV does have one USB port. I have not used the USB port myself and cannot say if it will work for your specified purpose, but I would think that if your current Hisense TV has a USB port that allows for such functionality, I cannot see why a newer model would not. All I can say is that after watching a colorful animated movie with my nephew the other day, both the picture and sound are pretty good(not great, not bad), especially given the price of the TV; the Wi-Fi connection was stable, no glitches or freezing, and the HDMI input works fine as well, as is to be expected. I have not had any problems or complaints with the TV over the few weeks I have owned it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Thanks, but still not sure. To clarify my question: There is a dedicated USB port into which you can plug in a thumb drive. This allows for freeze frame and recording of programs on the TV, not just to play files already in the thumb drive. Does this model have that capability?
