I was having the same issue of the 43H5510G switching from TV Mode to the App Home Screen while watching TV. This occurred about every 1 1/2 hours. Hisense Customer Service said to "reset" the TV... I never did a reset. Others have indicated that didn't work. My TV is used with a cable box from Suddenlink, which is connected from the cable box via HDMI to the 43H5510G. Originally I had it plugged into HDMI 1 / ARC... ARC: Audio Return Channel - this HDMI port is used along with a sound bar to where the TV sends sound to the sound bar. Since I do not use a sound bar I went into the Settings Menu and disabled ARC (DEVICE PREFERENCES>Sound>ARC>OFF). I also switched the HDMI cable to HDMI 2. I have not had the issue of the TV switching to the App Home Screen since making this change. Hope this works for you...

After about a week, the issue of switching from TV Mode to the App Home Screen while watching TV came back. The frequency of switching isn't every 1 1/2 hours, but it is switching to the App Home screen again... Not real sure what I'm going to do... keep or return.
