• You would just need to create a roku account. You do not have to enter payment info for a roku account and can use the tv as normal once you have created that roku account.

• I think you do need a Roku account, but a free account is fine. There is some free streaming (with ads). Paid content is available but you don't need to sign up for anything paid to use it as a TV.

• Yes, to enable streaming features. Roku account is free. It’ll also function without setting up an account as well.
