Correct. It has Chromecast built into the TV. Once you setup your TV and connect your internet. You are asked to sign in with your Google account. Your purchases are automatically available. The Google play store is in the TV as well for you to download apps. You can keep your Chromecast and use it on another TV or device you have but for this TV it's already built in for streamline streaming
