Hi! I just had this same issue, and literally on the eve of returning my TV, I found a solution (that worked for me). It turns out the issue appeared to be my cable box, not the TV. I set the audio output on the box to PCM only instead of Dolby, and suddenly the tv kept sync (I still had to set the sync settings on it, but prior to that, I'd do so, and after 10 minutes it would be out of sync). I found the same issue with our Roku, and setting it to PCM only audio output fixed it as well. Hopefully this is helpful!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.BINGO! Change the DOLBY to STEREO and stay on PCM! Aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh. We use Spectrum with ROKU. We love our 4 year old HISENSE! (Odd fact; lost our two televisions, hot water heater, and HVAC all in the same week ... no storms, no power surges, except for the one in our bank account!)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Sound delay, I am having same problem. Sound is behind the picture. ..
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. For me it was just the opposite; I had to switch the TV to Dolby and the lip sync problem instantly vanished. Odd, to say the least.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have had the same issue with my Hisense TV using it with Direct TV. I have my Direct TV set to PCM and sync issues with sound still happen. The only fix I found it to make sure when you are done watching tv that you turn off the satellite receiver and the tv completely. When you do this the sound will sync like it is supposed to when you turn everything back on. On the Direct TV remote if you hit the on button the tv will still shut off but the satellite receiver stays on and next time you turn the tv on the sound will be out of sync. I wish I would have bought the comparable LG or Samsung.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Also, change the hdmi connection on the tv from 60hz. To 30 hz. This may help if using comcast box
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We found a simple fix Don't turn on the satellite or cable box until AFTER the TV is turned on. If you start programming first, the TV is always playing catch up
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No solution here, but I did want to add my experience with lip-synch issues, as I think there may be more going on than just how a cable box, if applicable, is set up. Intermittent, finicky lip-syncing issues persisted for us with this TV, despite no issue on other 4K sets (including another Hisense model) that were set up the same way. We were NOT using a cable box, satellite box or IPTV setup. We noticed the issue while streaming on a Fire TV 4K as well as on over the air antenna TV. The TV was properly connected via the ARC port with a correct hi-speed HDMI cable to a newer Denon 4K receiver with HDMI 2.0 at 60 fps. HDMI set to “enhanced.” (I tried a couple of cables to be sure.) We’d previously been using both that receiver and that Fire TV on another 4K set in the house, both plugged into 60 fps ports, with no issues at all. We have another Hisense 4K model that is using a sound bar in the ARC HDMI port at 60 fps as well as the same model Fire TV at 60 fps (HDMI set to “enhanced”) with no issues. We have another 4K TV with a Denon 4K receiver and Apple TV 4K set up the same way with no problems. This is the only TV on which we experienced this issue. Plus, the problem was intermittent, as well. Sorting out intermittent issues is always more difficult, of course. I imagine we could have possibly sorted it out if we continued to experiment, but, ultimately, we decided that we shouldn’t have to sort out something like this on a new set when the same configuration and hardware have posed no issues on our other newer 4K sets. We ended up returning this set. We do have and like other Hisense televisions, but this model just didn’t work out for us for a few reasons, the lip-syching being one. It’s okay, though. We still like Hisense and do recognize that this set has many great features, including the very good picture quality and motion handling. I’m sure we won’t let this one experience stop us from buying another Hisense in the future. Just not this particular model.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Make sure both the tv and (for me it was dish) are set to pcm in the audio options.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had the same lip sync problem with the Hisense 65H9EPlus model when watching Spectrum cable TV. I had no problems with the sound when streaming or watching DVD or USB videos. Called Spectrum and the technician came to our home and spent three hours helping us. He changed three cable boxes and could not correct the problem. The temporary fix I was forced to use was to turn the cable box off and back on which reset the sync. However, after forwarding or reversing the video or pausing the video, the sound got out of sync again, every time. We called Hisense for technical help four times only to learn from them that they had no solution to our problem either but they were aware of it, had other callers who reported similar problems, and were working on a solution. They couldn't give me some idea of when they might find a fix so, under pressure to return the TV to Best Buy before their return window expired, I returned the TV two weeks after purchasing it in exchange for another manufacturer's model. That was five weeks ago. I don't know if Hisense or Spectrum have found a fix for this problem or not since that time. Otherwise, I was totally satisfied with everything else about the Hisense model, especially the picture. The Samsung model I bought doesn't have any of these sync issues with the sound and the Spectrum cable box.
