A:Answerhopefully you were able to resolve this. i have mine currently connected using the Optical port. The only reason i would suspect youre not getting sound is if your soundbar is not set to optical; the tv volume is not turned on OR you have a bad optical port. i hope its not the optical port, but my tv had a bad ARC port and they came and replaced it at no charge.
A:AnswerLike you I got tired of waiting for Best Buy to get it in stock. I live North of Boston. So, I ordered it on Amazon w/free shipping, I was told when I ordered it on May 27th that I would receive it on June 9th. I received this beautiful piece of machinery today June 4th by UPS, 5 days ahead of estimate. My advice is to buy from Amazon, delivery would be for Wed. the 9th. if ordered today I wouldn't be surprised if you saw big brown coming to you on Tuesday the 8th. Bigger plus is you get 30 days to return, unlike only 14 days that Best Buy offers. GOOD LUCK
A:AnswerIve owned Hisense tvs for years, and have never had any problems with them, however if they have a weakness, id say its the tv tuner..it works, but it could definitely be better. Also, with these tvs, you DEFINITELY need a decent antenna.

A:AnswerAccording to Hisense USA YouTube video on the U8G, it comes with Freesync Premium....although the AMD website does not list and Hisense TVs, which I find odd. There is definitely a Freesync switch in the settings for this TV, but not sure why AMD doesn't list any Hisense TVs.
