I have the same problem with audio sync on cable and Netflix. Have gone through all the solutions (change to PCM, passthrough, auto, etc.; factory reset; etc.). I have scheduled a return because it's simply too unreliable. One would think a "Smart" TV would be able to decipher the audio and video signals and match them up. Hisense support was absolutely no help in the problem. Blamed the cable box and Netflix service.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hisense must have made a software adjustment as the U8H I just purchased exhibited none of the characteristics you are talking about. True is is not as refined as double the price offerings from the big 3, but a 'wild stallion' of features, color, clarity and of course tons of brightness!. This TV may not be for the faint of heart, as it is rather hands on getting everything dialed in, but be prepared for a visual ride very few TV's made under 2000 are capable of offering, and incredible for the price! I watched everything from 480i signals to next gen ota (WOW!!!) and everything in between. Even my cats loved it!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Its been amazing tv. No issues at all. I heard a lot of ppl complaining about TV-audio issues. I did quick digging its prone to TVs released last couple of years. Also with internet Cable box issue. NOT a TV issue. There is compatibility issue. Here i found on Hisense site: To see if this is the issue, try changing the audio output on your cable box from Dolby to PCM. To do change your audio output, follow the steps below: Hit the Home button on your remote. Select “Settings.” Choose “Sound.” Select “Digital Audio Out” Change your selection to “PCM.” If this fails to mitigate your Hisense TV’s lip sync issue, resetting your TV is the next step.—————————————————- N it prob resolve most SYNC issues. Oh ps. I innitially plugged in the 60HZ HDMI plug , it has 2 60 hz, 2 120hz. So u need to look it up which ones are which before plug in. n ONLY 1 is EARC plug for audio or something. I am not sure if yr audio THeatre system has Passing thru EARC plug that u can prob plug yr ps5 thru yr speakers. But u can try. I only found out cuz we got Karaokee machine. N ONLY EARC plug worked. At last i dont know why ppl talking about Juttering. There is NO Juttering. ITs butter smooth. Go to Youtube look for 4k videos..just smooth. If u seee Juttering somewhere, prob its d content issue. Cuz most big Box movies are usually filmed in 24frame/second. TV can only produce d visual of 24fp , if it upscale it to 30 its gonna have processing issues. Its not TV’s fault. So use youtube 4k as baseline——30frame rate/second ,NOT the film n movies.
