Q: QuestionI have a hisense dehumidifier model dh10020kp1wg 70 pint- want water go out garden hose there is black rubber valve behind bucket that goes cw or ccw which direction do I go to garden hose?

• A:Answer Ignore the black rubber plug behind the bucket for now. That's access to the water filter. On the right hand side of the unit (facing the front) you will find a small flap. Open it up and you'll find the garden hose connection behind it. See the user manual pages 9-10 for further information. Be sure the garden hose ends below the level of the connection to the dehumidifier, or it will not drain. And be sure to check that water filter every 3 months and clean it.

Q: QuestionWhen my Hisense 50 pint dehumidifier water tank pump comes on it only empties a small amount of water. Why doesn't it empty all of the water? My pump comes on every 10 miniutes.

Q: QuestionI have this dehumidifier and have attached the garden hose for gravity drainage. We have still had to empty the drain bucket 3 times in 48 hours. Why is the gravity drain being bypassed? I bought this so I would not have to empty the dehumidifier. Thanks

Q: QuestionI can’t get the WiFi to work on my DH70W1WG Dehumidfier. It’s 10 feet from the Modem/Router that is working correctly through out the other devices using wifi only. The symbol on the unit does not light up, and Is not found by search on cell wifi

Q: QuestionI have three 70-pint Hisense dehumidifiers. they have been in operation for only one and one half years. A;ll three run but will not make water. Would it be the compressors or they gas leakage. What should I do? Can I get them repaired? Where???

• A:Answer This dehumidifier does not have a pump. You can use direct draining by removing the bucket and attaching a garden hose to the device.

Q: QuestionI want to use a hose to drain into our basement sink. The sink is maybe 10 feet away from the electric outlet. Is the electric cord that comes with this unit long enough to reach the outlet? If not, is it ok to use an extension cord?

• A:Answer I don't have this particular brand, but we have had our dehumidifier plugged into an extension cord for the last 3.5 years, and we use a garden hose running across the basement floor to our sump pump, and we've never had any problems.

• A:Answer Hi, no settings need to be changed. Simply remove the bucket, attached the garden hose, and then replace the bucket. Water will then drain through the garden hose. Please note that the hose should drain downhill. If you have any further questions, please contact us at 1-877-465-3566.
