The advantage of the VA panel only exists if you are sitting directly in front. Off-angle is not good. If you have several family members or guests over, they will be sitting at an angle and get a poor picture. The 75 inch uses a ADS panel which is an improved IPS and has a better contrast than the older IPS panels.

No, you aren't losing colors and most reviews choose the U8K over the QM8 and higher priced LCD's. Visually you cannot tell this panel is 8bit + FRC or 10bit. It's not the issue you make it out to be.

Please try again later.I now know from a comparison on YouTube between the Hisense U8K and the TCL QM8 that the Hisense U8K uses a disappointing "8-Bit plus FRC" type of Panel to "Simulate" the 10-Bit HDR technology. In comparison, the TCL QM8 uses a "True 10-Bit" type of Panel and "Truly" displays the 10-Bit HDR technology. The comparison on YouTube made it clear the TCL TV was the winner and had a far more impressive panel.
