Thank you for the suggestion. In the reviews for the U8K, they list the "pro" and "con" aspects of the TV. One of the "cons" for the U8K TV was how it is "very buggy." Hisense NEEDS to fix these "bugs" and technical glitches. The only way the eARC/ARC Input 3 will work for HIDMI Audio is if the Input 3 is set to either "Standard" or "Auto." If Input 3 is set to "Enhanced," the eARC/ARC will definitely not allow "HDMI" to be used for "Audio." Instead, "Audio" can only be output from the "TV Speakers" or from the "Optical" out. It truly is TERRIBLE that companies don't simply release some form of HDMI "Splitter" that can send the "Video" signal to the TV and the "Audio" signal to the A/V Receiver.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Did you adjust the audio output setting to ARC? It can be finicky, I had to play with the settings back and forth to get it to work with audio. Also, when you make the adjustment, turn the TV all the way off then back on.
