• Yes. Filter is already on. Not sure about filtering mold but I can tell you it is not a mold filtering device.

• Yes it comes with factory installed filter. I am not sure about filtering mold nice we never had to deal with it. if you have mold issue then you have a more serious problem that you need a mold specific filtet.

• Yes, this filter does come with a filter, already installed. However, for mold elimination, you will need to upgrade from the HEPA-Type filter, that comes with the unit, to a True-HEPA filter. Thank you for your inquiry.
