“Visiting at a friends and turned the fan on. It seems to be "running through" different speeds. It blows hard for 3 seconds, blows medium for 3 seconds, then gets quiet for 3 seconds. Then blows hard, blows medium, gets quiet. Is this normal?”

• The second button on the top is to have variable speeds running just in case that you don't want the full strength of air blowing. Just press the button a couple of times and you Will notice the led light on the top left comes off.

• The only time the fan functions as described in the question is when it is on the 'breeze' setting. it is a nice feature if you want to control the amount of air circulating in the room. I use it as an option every now and then.
