Yes, it is different. I find google much easier to use than Echo. I got the Echo for xmas and it is still in the box :( it wanted too much info when I was setting up the app on my phone to control it and it was too much. Google is so easy to use, if you get stuck with the installation steps you can verbally ask google for help and she will finish up the setup up

Please try again later.I personally prefer the google assistant over any others because I love the Google home app to integrate all of my smart devices and set up things like routines. My girlfriend used to use Alexa but I didn't like it. When you ask it questions it wouldn't give as good of responses as Google can, (obviously). I am looking at this from an assistant standpoint. I have no idea which one has better speakers.
