• Very easy. You start off by plugging in the home and then following a few easy steps. I have an android phone and downloaded the Home app. After that, you connect the home to your google account and your wifi (through the phone) and it is ready to go. If you have other google products, such as chromecast, you sync it through the home app as well.

• It's pretty straightforward. You need a Google account, but other than that it steps you through the setup pretty painlessly.
