A:Answer Depends on where you are and how cold it is. This unit is designed and intended for indoor use. Not saying it couldn’t be used outdoors, but unless you place it VERY close to you, the effect would be minimal. We had our basement finished out. There’s a chilly corner by the egress window in the basement. We use it there. Works well in that space. Has plenty of features: Multiple heat / fan speed settings, proximity sensor, tip over sensor, oscillate on /off. It also includes a remote. We are pleased with it. We bought it for use indoors in a dry location. Don’t recommend it for outdoors.
